The Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce presents Winter Restaurant Week!

Attention Lehigh Valley foodies: It’s time to start working up a big appetite because it is the best time to dine! The Hellertown-Lower Saucon Winter Restaurant Week is just around the corner! Planned for Sunday, January 12th – Saturday, January 18th 2020, the week-long event is designed to help local residents and visitors from all across the Lehigh Valley discover all of the unique dining establishments that the Hellertown and Lower Saucon area has to offer.  Participating Hellertown-Lower Saucon Area Restaurant Week locations offer “set-price” or “prix fixe” breakfast, lunch, dinner, and/or dessert selections with both takeout and options. These delicious menu items are designed to satisfy a spectrum of palates, budgets and lifestyles including those with an appreciation for local craft beer and locally made wine!  Restaurant Week has evolved into a very exciting and highly-anticipated annual event.   With a record number of restaurants at 16, the week is poised to be the BEST ever for Hellertown Lower Saucon.  First time participants this year include two craft breweries and local winery all located in the area which will enhance the week in a big way.

 

“Each year during the cold wintry month of January, the Hellertown & Lower Saucon area gets a whole lot tastier with the much anticipated return of this week-long annual event! Restaurant Week allows us to showcase the high quality restaurants, local craft breweries, and local winery that we have in our community,” said Jessica O’Donnell, Executive Vice President of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber.  O’Donnell notes, “It also affords us the opportunity to live out our mission to advance the small business, civic, and general interest of the Hellertown Lower Saucon area. So, if you’re a lover of exceptional local food and beverage or just want to take a break from cooking, mark your calendars!”

Enjoy options at this year the participating businesses; 16 (as of 1/6/2020): Springtown Inn, DiMaio’s Family Ristorante & Pizzeria, McDonald’s Hellertown, Tap’s Tavern, Braveheart Highland Pub, Ella’s Ristorante, Ye Olde Spring Valley Tavern, The Hellertown Crossroads Hotel, Mystical Treatsss Café, Papa Johns- Hellertown, Wings On Main, Vassi’s, The Steel Club, Hop Hill Brewing, Black River Farms Vineyards & Lost Tavern Brewing.

“Steel Club is excited to be participating in its first ever Restaurant Week!  It’s a great opportunity for folks who have not visited us yet to come in and try all we have to offer. Our restaurant week menus are going to be available during Brunch, Lunch and Dinner service, starting on Sunday the 12th with Brunch from 10 am to 3 pm,” said Tom Butera, General Manager of Steel Club.

“Participating in Restaurant Week is a great way to showcase our most popular dishes to the entire Lehigh Valley, and most importantly for those who haven’t dined with us before. Come on out and give us a try,” Anna DiMaio, owner of DiMaio’s Family Ristorante and Pizzeria.

“In addition to experiencing some of the local flavors these restaurants have to offer, it’s also a great time to explore other attractions and activities nearby,” O’Donnell goes on to mention.
