In the areas of Northern Lehigh County (including Schnecksville, Germansville, Slatington, Danielsville, Walnutport, Coplay).

Event Information: The Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce presents Winter Restaurant Week!

Calling all foodies! Just in time to beat the winter blues, Greater Northern Lehigh’s Winter Restaurant Week is right around the corner and bringing some of the best restaurants the Northern Lehigh Valley has to offer! Greater Northern Lehigh’s Winter Restaurant week is planned for February 23-29, 2020; the week-long event is designed to shine a spotlight on the diverse and delicious restaurants the Northern Lehigh Valley has to offer!

Participating restaurants will offer “set-price” or “prix fixe” breakfast, lunch, dinner, and/or dessert selections with both takeout and options. These delicious menu items are designed to satisfy a spectrum of palates, budgets and lifestyles. 2020 brings the second ever restaurant week to this region; with its inaugural run in 2019, which saw a great response from customers and businesses alike, The Chamber looks forward to watching this event grow!

“The landscape of Greater Northern is widespread and diverse; our restaurants are no different,” said Kylie Adams, Manager of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber. “Restaurant Week offers an opportunity to get out and try new places and revisit old favorites while supporting our local community! Especially when we’re all fighting through these grey winter months, it’s a great excuse to get out of the house and plan a night out with friends or family.”

Andy Gildner, owner of Keystone Technology, LLC, and Chair of the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce, noted, “Restaurant Week is an excellent opportunity to share with the entire Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber the hidden gems of our area! We encourage all members to participate.”

Adams added, “Breaking bread has always been a universal means of growing a community; Restaurant Week provides an opportunity to continue the mission of the Chamber of Commerce by advancing our small businesses and growing interest in our community! Not only that, it’s a great excuse to not have to grocery shop the last week of February, so mark your calendars!”

With eight restaurants participating from Schnecksville to Slatington, the variety of restaurants are sure to please.
Participating this year for the first time is Back Home Bagels, located on 309 in Schnecksville. Manager Kristen Roccamanta said, “We are very excited to be apart of this year’s restaurant week – we’re looking forward to having new faces come through our doors!”

Several businesses throughout the Lehigh Valley have come out to sponsor and support the event as well; Chris Hankee, of the Krysta Hankee Memorial Fund, said that their choice to sponsor this event was personal to their mission. “Our local restaurant community has been a gracious supporter of our efforts to help families in need. We are proud to be a part of the Chamber’s continued efforts to strengthen local partnerships.”

Enjoy options at this year the participating businesses (as of 1/24/2020): Curious Goods at Bake Oven Inn (Germansville), Back Home Bagels (Schnecksville), 19th Grille at Woodstone (Danielsville), Mr. Doggy Style Hot Dog Shoppe (Walnutport), Legends Valley at the Best Station (Slatington), Mama’s Pizza (Slatington) , The Art of Flavors (at the Slatington Diner, Slatington), and Willow Street Pub (Coplay).

“Our Restaurant Week concept has built so much momentum across the Lehigh Valley.  It is so much fun to spotlight our communities and all they have to offer.  We have many hidden treasures in the Greater Northern Lehigh Area and this is our time to showcase our participating restaurants, not only to our local residents, but to foodies across the Lehigh Valley,” said Jessica O’Donnell, EVP, Affiliated Chambers.
