Easton Market District’s FUNK FEST … Beginning at 9 am at the Easton Farmers’ Market and at 10 am at the Easton Public Market – Funk Fest makes its Easton debut celebrating the funkiest fermented and cultured foods, including kombucha, cheese, beer and more. Classes are scheduled at EPM to teach you how to make kombucha; quickles and sauerkraut; or ricotta cheese — for more information see listed class events. And the EPM vendors are getting funky too, including: More Than Q – smoked bleu cheese deviled eggs with pickled red onions; Scratch – a funky cheese, onion marmalade, and lorca pizza and a ‘Funk Edition’ beer from Shawnee Craft Brewing; Fieldstone – Kombucha on draught; Mr. Lee’s ‘Funky Fraiche’ noodle salad; Olive With A Twist – selection of brie, cured meats and infused vinegars; 3rd & Ferry Fresh Fish – a Bloody Mary mash; and check out The Highmark® Farmstand’s pop-up sampling stands. It’s funky food at its finest!!
