Collectible art & fashion, cultural experiences, more to win

Allentown, PA—The Allentown Art Museum is presenting its first Sizzling Summer Online Art (& More!) Auction, with nearly a hundred artful items to browse and bid on. Bidding opens Wednesday, August 5, at noon and ends Sunday, August 9 at 9 p.m.

“We’re taking our popular Gala Auction online this year and encouraging everyone to browse and bid in support of their Museum,” says Michelle R. Stringer, the Museum’s Interim President and Chair of the Board of Trustees. “The funds raised support our educational initiatives and essential operations and are so very appreciated.”

Auction items include original paintings, sculpture, and prints by Willie Cole, Peter Grippe, William Hudders, and Jacob Hashimoto; a Whiskey Sunset Martin Guitar; and more. There are also home furnishings such as a stylish Knoll side table, one-of-a- kind jewelry and glasswork, gift certificates to restaurants such as Bolete, fashionable accessories, and rejuvenating experiences such as spa days and excursions to Philadelphia cultural sites.

Bidders can view all auction items and register to bid by visiting the Museum’s website at www.AllentownArtMuseum.org/summerauction2020.

Auction items have been donated by patrons in support of the Museum’s 2020 Gala. All proceeds go toward general operating expenses and educational initiatives at the Museum.
