Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce is looking to get the local foodies together to rally support for local restaurants. The annual Southern Lehigh Restaurant Week is from Sunday April 25 through Saturday May 1. 2020’s event quickly switched from our typical restaurant week with prix fixe menus to a gift card grab event. With restrictions having lifted this week though, our local eateries are ready to safely bring back a lot of their customers after a year of trouble.

Gold Sponsor Bartlett Tree Services – Emmaus shares, “Trees need to be fed, and people do too! We recognize the trials and tribulations this pandemic has forced Americans to face, and Bartlett Tree Experts is an advocate of supporting local businesses. We encourage your dream, as you encourage ours.”

Executive Vice President Jessica O’Donnell encourages support, “With the weather turning and restrictions being lifted, we hope our local community will take part in this initiative to support some of our favorite restaurants. Everything was in place last year when the shutdown occurred so our Southern Lehigh restaurants haven’t enjoyed the benefits and exposure of this event for two years. They need our support!”

Participating restaurants include Casa Toro, Coopersburg Diner, Diana’s Café and more. Community members will be able to choose from a variety of deals. Some of these restaurants may have a to-go deal or a coupon or a prix fixe meal. Interested parties can find more information at https://www.lehighvalleychamber.org/slrestweek.html as that information becomes available.

John Piascik, Business Development Specialist with Bohler shares, “Restaurants across America have been hit especially hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. This Restaurant Week, Bohler is proud to sponsor our local Southern Lehigh eateries and encourage communities to safely support local businesses.”

Vice President of Affiliated Chambers Ashley Lorah shares, “Restaurant Week is a great time to support the local eateries where we have memories of some of the most significant times in our lives. We celebrate accomplishments, mourn losses, reconnect with friends, host business meetings, and more at these establishments. We can show our support and appreciation for their struggles by ordering out or eating in at these participating restaurants.”
