Tunes at Twilight Returns Amid Ongoing COVID-19 Restrictions

BETHLEHEM, PA, April 26, 2021: The Downtown Bethlehem Association announced their popular Tunes at Twilight concert series will return for 2021, with an all-new approach to keeping people safe and socially distanced. Concerns for the concert series forced the Association to re-think how they would bring hundreds of people to the Historic District safely as they listen to their favorite musicians. Restaurants and business owners of the Association that have ample outdoor space agreed to host local musicians to play for Tunes at Twilight guests. Multiple businesses will offer a variety of music every Thursday night starting May 6th.

“We couldn’t plan Tunes at Twilight as we have done in the past. Due to Covid-19, we had to re-evaluate all our events and change things up to keep our guests safe,” says Tammy Wendling, Manager of the Downtown Bethlehem Association. “We are still facing restrictions, and there isn’t enough space in The Sun Inn Courtyard to spread everyone out. Our solution to have restaurants and businesses host Tunes at Twilight not only ensures the safety of our guests, but it also supports Downtown Bethlehem businesses.”

Tunes at Twilight Backstage Passes will also be sold on the website for $10. Those who purchase a Pass will receive exclusive discounts from participating merchants on Thursdays, from May 6, through July 22. Passes also include free parking in the North Street Parking Garage, courtesy of the Bethlehem Parking Authority, for all twelve Thursdays during the Tunes at Twilight series.

The Tunes at Twilight complete list of “Locations & Line-ups” can be found on the Association’s website Tunesattwilight.com. Guests are encouraged to make reservations where accepted. McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub and Whiskey Bar, along with The Goundie Garden, found behind Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites Visitor’s Center, will provide additional outdoor seating and refreshments on a first-come basis.
