Previously scheduled musician KT Tunstall cancels entire summer tour

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — ArtsQuest is proud to offer a new Latin music night on the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza, to its 2021 Musikfest lineup on Thursday, Aug. 12. The evening, headlined by Hector Tricoche, will be free to the public.

Gates will open at 6 p.m. A DJ from La Mega will kick off the night, followed by urban merengue band Mako Swing. Then, vocalist Michael Stuart will take to the Wind Creek Steel Stage, followed by Hector Tricoche.

Carrying the title of one of the Original Salsa Kings, Hector Tricoche is an international musician of Puerto Rican descent who sings in the genre of Latin pop and salsa. Tricoche, known for his hits Perriquito Pin Pin, A Corazon Abierto, No Soy Automatico and more, is also known for his off-stage personality, entertaining crowds by filling intermissions with a bit of comedy. He has released nine albums in the United States, and much more internationally.

Before breaking out on his own, Michael Stuart was a backup singer for several well-known artists including Marc Anthony, Johnny Rivera and Víctor Manuelle. Now, the award-winning artist entertains crowds across the globe.

These performances are made possible thanks to the generous support of B. Braun Medical and the community partnership of La Mega radio. Visit musikfest.org or download the free Musikfest app for more information about the festival taking place Aug. 6 – 15, with a special preview night on Aug. 5.
