BETHLEHEM, PA – October 14, 2021 – A longtime staple to Bethlehem’s “Christmas City,” Domaci, a locally-based furniture and home decor retailer, is excited to announce their upcoming holiday installations, events, and partnerships for 2021, which include Christmas City Shoppe by Domaci at Christkindlmarkt and their Holiday Open House event, taking place on North Side Main Street through the holiday season. Guests will also have the opportunity to give back to the community by shopping with Domaci, who have partnered with New Bethany Ministries to donate a portion of proceeds to their nonprofit organization.

Guests are invited to celebrate the season and complete their Christmas shopping list at Domaci’s Holiday Open House event Nov. 5-7, taking place at their shops along 523 Main Street, which include Domaci Market, Domaci Home and Domaci Flea at Plants + Vintage. All of the shops will be decked out with holiday cheer, featuring the new Christmas City Shoppe collection of decor, as well as special drinks, bites, prizes, product demonstrations, and more! In addition, Domaci in partnership with Dr. and Sir, LLC Historic Bethlehem Rental Properties, will be giving away a free overnight stay at the beautiful Domaci Suite Airbnb at the Lofts on Main.

Stop by Domaci Market for a modern take on a traditional general store, with everyday essentials and lots of unique gift items for every friend and family member. Domaci Market will also be featuring a specially-curated “Eat, Drink, & Be Merry” holiday collection while supplies last. For those looking to refresh their home for the holidays, Domaci Home offers a new kind of furniture shopping experience where you’ll work alongside a trained home furnishings specialist to create rooms that are unique to your personal needs and wants. For the vintage lover or botanist, Plants + Vintage will provide the ultimate green shopping experience featuring houseplants and decor by Steel City Plant Co. as well as the always popular Domaci Flea vintage collection.

During the exciting Holiday Open House weekend, Domaci will be donating a portion of proceeds from all sales toward New Bethany Ministries, a 36-year-old Bethlehem nonprofit organization offering hope and support to those experiencing poverty, hunger, and homelessness. Their services include short-term housing solutions, case management, employment assistance, laundry and shower services, mailing services, and daily access to healthy food options. Domaci will continue to partner with the nonprofit through the rest of the holiday season by donating a portion of proceeds from all purchases of the locally made Eric & Christopher “South Mountain Star” Collection to New Bethany Ministries from Nov.19 through Dec. 24. The collection includes a wine tote and pillow, featuring the iconic Star of Bethlehem, as well as a new exclusive letterpress greeting card.

Domaci is also thrilled to partner with ArtsQuest, another local nonprofit, for their holiday market Christkindlmarkt, taking place Fridays-Sundays, Nov. 19-28 and Thursdays-Sundays, December 2-19 at 101 Founders Way, in SouthSide Bethlehem. Domaci will be occupying a brand-new space at the event with their exclusive Christmas City Shoppe by Domaci collection. The Christkindlmarkt location will also feature a representation of all Domaci shops, with specialty items from Domaci Flea, Market and Home such as the exclusive Christmas City Cityscape Ornament, a large assortment of candles including favorite scents “Home for Christmas” and “Salted Caramel,” “HoHo Retro” themed pieces, holiday puzzles and a fun, tabletop mini fire pit “S’more Roasting Board Set.”

“We began sourcing and ordering this year’s holiday assortment back in January,” says Domaci co-founder, Warren Clark. “We’re confident that even with the unprecedented supply chain shortages and product delays that have been so prevalent this year, we will still be able to offer an amazing and unique selection of gifts and decor that you’re sure to love.”

Domaci’s Christmas City Shoppe will be open through the duration of Christkindlmarkt and open during the market’s regular business hours.

Domaci has made the decision not to move forward as a vendor in the forthcoming Riverport Public Market in SouthSide Bethlehem, instead focusing on continued growth and expansion in their current locations.
