The Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, is gearing up for a memorable 2021 holiday season!

“Here comes Santa Claus, Here come Santa Claus, right down….” Kings Highway?! That’s right! For the first time ever, the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Heidelberg and Lynn Townships and the Honey Done List Co. for the Northwestern Lehigh Tree Lighting Ceremony in Ontelaunee Park!

“Ontelaunee Park is a treasured part of the Northwestern Lehigh footprint,” said Kylie Adams-Weiss, Assistant Vice President of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. “It was quickly identified as the perfect location to host our inaugural tree lighting ceremony, and we could not be more excited to be partnering with both Heidelberg and Lynn Townships to create a holiday celebration like no other!”

The event will take place on December 5, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM and is free and open to the public. The event will feature festive holiday performances from local elementary school choruses, as well as complimentary hot chocolate and hotdogs for participants. Crafters, artisans and local businesses will host a vendor market to provide an opportunity for holiday shopping, and Santa Claus himself will be making an appearance, too.

In addition to the Tree Lighting festivities, the event will also host a food drive. “It is crucial that we open our hearts to those in need all year long,” said Jessica O’Donnell, Executive Vice President of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. “The holidays remind us that the spirit of giving is alive and well, and the Chamber likes to ensure that we are helping others in the community.” This year’s food drive will collect canned goods and nonperishable items for the Lowhill Food Pantry.

In the spirit of giving, William Miller, of the Honey Done List Co., stepped in quickly as Presenting Sponsor of the inaugural event. “We sponsored this event as a small token of our appreciation for the patronage of our first year of business, and look forward to many years to come. The Honey Done List Co. is honored to be a part of this spectacular moment in our small town’s history!”
