Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network Names Christie Sborz as Site Manager of Pottsville Outpatient Location

POTTSVILLE, PA — Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network has named Christie Sborz, PT, DPT, as site manager of Good Shepherd’s Pottsville outpatient location at 2655 Woodglen Road.

Sborz, a certified physical therapist who grew up in nearby Minersville, oversees Pottsville’s team of licensed and certified experts that provides personalized physical rehabilitation care for adults and children recovering from injury, illness or surgery, as well as patients who live with chronic conditions. A practicing clinician with Good Shepherd since 2019, Sborz specializes in adult and pediatric rehabilitation, wheelchair evaluations, orthopedic and neurological conditions and manual therapy.

In addition to leading Pottsville, Sborz also serves as site manager of Good Shepherd Physical Therapy in Hamburg, 500 Hawk Ridge Drive, Suite 2A. Sborz received her doctorate in physical therapy from Lebanon Valley College, and is a graduate of Minersville High School.

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation’s Pottsville location, formerly known as Pottsville Area Physical Therapy (PTS), has been a part of the Schuylkill County community since 1982. Good Shepherd Rehabilitation specializes in treating musculoskeletal problems, such as back and neck pain, sprains and strains, fractures, joint replacements, sports injuries and arthritic conditions, as well as caring for people recovering from stroke, brain injury and other neurological conditions.

The Pottsville site offers a number of services and programs, including orthopedic rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation, physical therapy, vestibular/balance therapy, occupational health rehabilitation for injured workers and lymphedema therapy, which is a new offering in the area. Pamela Conroy, MPT, CLT, a certified specialist, leads Good Shepherd’s lymphedema services.
