Last Call this week for ticket purchases to Christmas City Lovefeast breakfast

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (November 29, 2022) – This year, Bethlehem will host a new holiday event on December 4th in the tradition of the Moravians. The Christmas City Lovefeast will be a community breakfast from  8:00am-10am and a call to “love our neighbors as ourselves,” as the Moravians say.  Proceeds from ticket purchases will go to the Citizen’s Christmas City Committee, a non-profit organization that helps bring Christmas to the community year after year. This week is the last call to purchase tickets. Tickets include breakfast, special complimentary gifts from local merchants, and free early admission to Bethlehem’s Christkindlmarkt.

Brittney Ciardi, Assistant Vice President of Bethlehem Initiatives for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce says, “The holiday season is the perfect time to gather in celebration of community and togetherness. This year, we will honor Moravian traditions from the Lovefeast to our trellis ornaments, including the classic candle in the window. We welcome all to the community meal, and we hope to celebrate holiday magic with the public.”

Christmas City Lovefeast is a rain-or-shine event and tickets are non-refundable. Registration begins at 8:00am with breakfast from 8:15-9:30am. Following the breakfast, all guests will beat the lines for Christkindlmarkt, where they can stroll the aisles of handmade holiday creations while they listen to live music. The holiday marketplace opens to the general public at 10am.
