There’s many things to look forward to every month. As cooler weather sets in, my sights set on Winter, Snow and Christmas!

As we get closer to December, Christkindlmarkt, (a German Inspired Holiday Market) comes to mind and I start planning my trips over to Bethlehem. This year it started Nov. 18th and ran every Friday through Sunday up to Dec. 18th.
This year was extra Special as it marked the 30th Anniversary of the start of Christkindlmarkt in Bethlehem PA!
WOW……30 Years that ArtsQuest has been bringing Artisans from around the World to the Lehigh Valley!
I make it a point to go at least 3 times a season, as I need to take it all in + there’s so much to see, hear, taste & do! Each time I go, I tend to see people that I haven’t seen in a long time and reconnect. Being there definitely puts a person in the Christmas Spirits!
About 10 years ago I took my mom over, as she wanted a new pair of earrings. We scoured all the jewelry stands until her eyes settled on a unique design that neither of us have ever seen. She bought a pair and I bought a 2nd pair the following weekend to wrap up for her for Christmas present. She was excited, to say the least. This weekend closes the 2022 market on Sunday Dec. 18th and I’ll be there to absorb as much as I can!
Did you know what Christkindl is?
A Christmas decoration in the shape of infant Jesus and can be found at a Christmas Market.
