The National Canal Museum (NCM) is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with our children’s program, Kids on the Canal! Volunteers should enjoy doing crafts and demonstrating planned activities to kids visiting the museum every 3rd Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. from April to December. The K9 Kop Project is a 501c3 that provides funding for K9 units and educates the public on the needs of K9 Officers. We are looking for a Virtual Administrative Assistant to help for 1-2 hours weekly. Our food pantry serves over 200 families per month and runs solely on the assistance of volunteers. Northeast Community Center in Bethlehem is seeking volunteers to assist with food distribution on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in our busy food pantry. A one-acre garden, called the Easton Urban Farm, supplies fresh produce, as well as flowers, each summer to underserved neighborhoods. Three times a week, we rely on volunteers to prepare rows, plant, weed, compost, water, pick and bundle and transport veggies to food pantries and senior centers in Easton.
