Sensory Friendly Films and Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks Free Family Movie Series Return this Summer!
Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA., May 7, 2025 – ArtsQuest is thrilled to announce this summer’s Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks Free Family Movie Series lineup! Join us on the Levitt lawn at SteelStacks for the Free Family Movie Series presented by Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE). Bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit on while you enjoy movies under the stars. All screenings will start at 6:30 p.m on Wednesdays throughout the summer. Tickets are not required. Join us at 6 p.m. for a free themed craft provided by ArtsQuest visual arts teaching artists!
Free parking is available at the parking lots on First Street immediately adjacent to SteelStacks. Food and beverages will be available at the Mack Truck Stop at the Levitt Pavilion presented by Lehigh Valley Heath Network part of Jefferson Health, as well as on the first floor of the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, located across the street from the Levitt Pavilion.
Additionally, ArtsQuest is excited to offer The Sensory Friendly Family Film Series presented by Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE). These screenings will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas on Wednesdays throughout the summer. This series is specially created for children and adults with sensory sensitivities, making it possible for everyone to enjoy their favorite movies on the big screen. As part of the film screenings, talking and walking are permitted, and stimming (self-regulation behavior) is encouraged. The theater’s house lights are dimmed but remain on, while the film volume is lowered and previews are eliminated, all in an effort to provide a comfortable viewing experience for attendees. Families with special dietary needs are allowed to bring food from home. Free tickets are available at SteelStacks.org.
All titles are presented in English with Spanish subtitles.
