40th Annual KidsPeace Golf Classic Raises Nearly $95,000 for Program Enhancements

SCHNECKSVILLE, PA (October 14, 2025) – KidsPeace announced that its 40th Annual Golf Classic event raised nearly $95,000 for program enhancements at its Orchard Hills Campus in Lehigh County (PA).

Organizers say the amount of monetary and in-kind donations is a new record for the Golf Classic, which supports programming at KidsPeace Children’s Hospital and its Pennsylvania residential treatment facility – in line with KidsPeace’s mission to give hope, help and healing to children, adults and those who love them.

More than 100 golfers enjoyed perfect weather conditions for the October 6th event at Woodstone Country Club and Lodge in Danielsville, PA. In addition to the opportunity to play the Woodstone course, the event also featured a special trip raffle, and a vibrant item and experience raffle featuring contributions from local businesses and individual donors.

Capital Blue Cross served as the Presenting Sponsor of the 40th KidsPeace Golf Classic, while BSI Corporate Benefits was Giveaway Sponsor for the event.

“On behalf of all of us at KidsPeace, I am so thankful for the amazing outpouring of support and enthusiasm that we had from our sponsors, participants and volunteers for our 40th Annual Golf Classic,” said Libbie Ruggiero, Director of Development at KidsPeace. “We look forward to building on the momentum from this year to help this event grow in years to come.”

The Golf Classic is a fundraising effort organized by the KidsPeace Lehigh Valley Board of Associates (BoA), a group of community leaders who work to gather support for the organization’s efforts.

Anytime you get an 80-degree day and get to spend it on the golf course, it’s a great day, but when you combine it with the KidsPeace 40th Annual Golf Classic … Priceless!” said Shawn Hughes, BoA President. “Huge thank you to our sponsors, volunteers and Woodstone – there’s no way we could have such a successful event like this without them.”
