Via of the Lehigh Valley Welcomes New Board Members

BETHLEHEM, PA – Via of the Lehigh Valley is proud to announce the appointment of Murtaza Jaffer, Stephen Perun, and Rachel Sokolsky, Esq. to its Board of Directors.

Jaffer is a partner at EBC Printing & Signs in Allentown. He brings a wealth of experience in communication, brand development, and storytelling, having earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications from The Pennsylvania State University – Lehigh Valley.

“I believe everyone deserves a chance to thrive, and Via’s work makes that possible for so many in our community. Perun currently serves as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer at Peoples Security Bank & Trust Company in Allentown. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business and brings strong fiscal management and control, as well as budgeting skills to the Via board.

“Via’s mission resonates deeply with me. Supporting individuals with disabilities as they pursue greater independence and opportunities is incredibly meaningful work. I am honored to contribute to an organization that uplifts and strengthens the fabric of our community,” said Perun.

Sokolsky is an associate attorney at King Spry Herman Freund & Faul in Bethlehem, specializing in special education law and excelling in organizational development, public speaking, and writing. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law in Philadelphia.

Sokolsky shares, “Via’s mission to empower individuals with disabilities aligns closely with my values and career objectives. I believe everyone deserves access to meaningful opportunities and supportive environments.”
