Shoppe at Historic Hotel Bethlehem reveals 11th annual holiday tin, announces signing dates
Local artist and candy company featured in collectible limited-edition holiday gift
Bethlehem, PA (November 3, 2025) – It’s beginning to taste a lot like Christmas. The Shoppe at Historic Hotel Bethlehem’s annual peppermint bark tin arrives Saturday. This is the 11th year the Shoppe is offering a collectible tin packed with peppermint bark from a local candy maker. “This sells out every year and I don’t think this year will be the exception. In fact, I think it will sell out even faster than usual because the tins just keep getting more popular,” said JoAnn Haines, the Shoppe at Hotel Bethlehem’s Director of Merchandising.
Local photographer Chris Fiegel created the photo illustration on the front of the tin. It’s a combination of still photography and artistic enhancements. “Everything about this art just glows. You’ve got a gorgeous inspirational Moravian star at the top, then the iconic Hotel Bethlehem sign we all know and love. Plus, the warm window lights in the hotel just look so welcoming,” said Haines.
Fiegel said, “Historic Hotel Bethlehem has been an icon of Christmas ever since I can remember. My parents were married here, it was my first job as a bellhop, and I’ve served as a marketing specialist with the hotel for the last two-and-a-half years. Drawing inspiration from these experiences, it’s a true honor and privilege to mix my photography with digital artwork, spotlighting the spirit of a classic Christmas at the hotel, for this annual collectible Christmas tin in The Shoppe.”
Savor the limited edition Lehigh Valley peppermint bark
The inside of the tin is just as memorable as the outside. Every box comes packed with eight bars of peppermint bark from Bazzini, a Lehigh Valley confectionary company. “I don’t think Santa wants milk and cookies. He wants peppermint bark,” laughed Haines. “This is absolute holiday perfection. The dark chocolate and the white chocolate come together just beautifully with those crunchy peppermint bits.” Tins are $30 each and will be available at the Shoppe at Historic Hotel Bethlehem and online at https://www.hotelbethlehemshoppe.com/ .
Commemorative Tin Signing
You can make your collectible tin even more special when you get it signed by the photographer Chris Fiegel, the hotel Managing Partner Bruce Haines, and the candy confectioner Rocco Damato. They’ll be at the Shoppes at Hotel Bethlehem on Saturday, November 8 between 10am and 1pm. Bruce Haines said, “Historic Hotel Bethlehem’s peppermint bark tin signing day has become a tradition that kicks off the celebratory season in the city. I look forward to it every year.”
