Now More Than Ever: Trellis Ornament Sales Support Victory House in Critical Time of Need

Bethlehem, PA — November 9, 2025 —The Citizens’ Christmas City Committee in partnership with the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, has launched its annual Trellis Ornament fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting Victory House of Lehigh Valley, which has supported men and veterans for 40 years. This year’s ornament supports a meaningful new chapter for the organization: the opening of its first-ever licensed recovery house for women.

“The phrase ‘Legacy of Love,’ etched into this year’s Christmas City trellis ornament, could not be more fitting. It was the theme of our 40th anniversary, marking four decades of compassion, community, and second chances at Victory House — and this year, it also marks a new chapter as we open our Women’s Recovery Home. We’re honored to be this year’s ornament beneficiary and thankful to everyone whose holiday spirit helps us continue this legacy of love in action.” – Tom Carson, Executive Director Victory House of Lehigh Valley

“When someone purchases this year’s Trellis ornament, they’re doing more than celebrating Christmas in the Christmas City, they’re helping empower men and veterans, and now women on their journey toward healing, stability, and independence,” said Tammy Wendling, Senior Vice President of Bethlehem Initiatives, Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Trellis Dedication at the Tree Lighting Ceremony

At the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Payrow Plaza on November 28th, the Trellis will be formally dedicated to Victory House of Lehigh Valley in honor of this milestone. The Committee also intends to present Victory House with a check in January, representing community contributions from ornament sales.
