EASTON, PA – November 11, 2025 – In response to growing economic uncertainty, ASPIRE to Autonomy Inc. is mobilizing its Community Intervention Services (CIS) team to continue its

long-standing support of the community. For over five years, ASPIRE has provided these food box giveaways as a way of supporting our neighbors, and now, this support is needed more than ever.

The team will host its next Community Wellness Hub and Food Box Giveaway in Easton on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Centennial Park. The team will distribute 125 pre-filled food boxes to individuals and families, while ASPIRE’s Wellness Hub staff will be on-site to provide connections to vital resources for housing, mental health, and other support.

This giveaway is the first of four planned events in Easton, made possible by a generous grant from the Easton Rotary and a District Matching Grant.

The initiative comes at a critical time for the community. “With a continuing government shutdown, the Pennsylvania state budget not passed, and SNAP benefits hanging in limbo, we know our neighbors are feeling the pain and uncertainty,” said Darnell Davis, Co-Founder & CEO of ASPIRE. “We are stepping up to ensure our neighbors have the support they need.”

ASPIRE’s mission is to combat human trafficking and exploitation by addressing the root causes that put individuals at risk. This Wellness Hub model connects food insecurity, a primary destabilizing factor, with on-site access to the organization’s case management and support services.

“This is not just a food giveaway; this is our mission in action,” Davis added. “By providing this foundational support, we are building trust and connecting with individuals who may be at high risk. We are here to be A Supportive Presence Initiating Recovery and Empowerment (ASPIRE) for the community we love and serve.”

How to Get Help: Individuals and families in the Easton area in need of a food box are encouraged to pre-register to reserve one. Please email freedom@pathtoautonomy.org or watch ASPIRE’s social media channels for a pre-registration link.

How to Give Help: ASPIRE is starting with 125 pre-filled boxes but is seeking community donations to increase this number to 150. Those interested in supporting this initiative can contact the organization directly at freedom@pathtoautonomy.org.
