Magellan Cares Foundation Awards $2,500 Grant to Safe Harbor Easton in Northampton County

Bethlehem, PA – November 12, 2025 – Magellan Cares Foundation and Magellan Behavioral Health of Pennsylvania, Inc. today announced a recently awarded grant of $2,500 by the Foundation to Safe Harbor Easton in Northampton County. The grant award supports Safe Harbor’s ARISE Program, which is a structured, three-phase program embedded in the shelter that combines individualized in-house case management with a therapeutic community to address root causes of homelessness and recidivism.

Safe Harbor Easton provides program-driven shelter for adults experiencing homelessness, as well as basic human services to the greater community. Their 50-bed ARISE Shelter aims to provide long-term solutions to homelessness through targeted curriculum, in-house case management, and a therapeutic community structure. It is their mission to foster lifelong success and stability in homeless individuals by addressing the root causes of their homelessness. A 501(c)(3) organization, focuses on efforts to improve access to quality healthcare and related social supports.
