Saint Nick of Bethlehem at The Roxy Theatre

2004 Main Street, Northampton, PA 18067

Tonight, it felt as if Christmas had arrived a little early thanks to Actor, Director, Producer, and all-around great guy, Daniel Roebuck. He wrote and directed, Saint Nick of Bethlehem with Spencer Folmar. I was an extra along with my amazing friend Paula Gallo. It was my first time seeing the film with some of my family at the historically beautiful Roxy Theatre in Northampton. Daniel Roebuck showed up along with several members of the cast.

He was dressed as Saint Nick. We also met the amazing Marsha Dietlein, Kathy Patterson, Jennifer Porrata, and a few more amazing people. Associate producer Beth Clausnitzer was also in attendance. I met a wonderful gentleman named, Larry who was decked out for Christmas. He was so excited, and stated this will be his ninth time seeing the film.

Saint Nick of Bethlehem is based on a true story, and the amazing man whose life this story is based on, was there. The bright red truck from the film was also parked out front of the theatre. Allen Smith is quite an amazing soul, and the film is in memory of his son, Garrett Smith. Allen confirmed that he still carries on the tradition of helping people, and bringing joy to others.

The film is a beautiful story and it is told with care. You can tell that Daniel Roebuck, and Spencer Folmar took some time, and cherished this project. The cast was amazing. It is a feel-good story. It truly shows that when you add love, and joy into the world, it can make a difference.

The staff at the Roxy was fabulous. They were working so hard to make sure everyone was okay, and got where they needed to be. Daniel Roebuck had a Q&A after the film. It was such a beautiful evening with amazing souls.

Make sure to follow Saint Nick of Bethlehem on social media, and it will be playing at the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas soon. Christkindlmarkt is also now open.
