Coopersburg, PA – The holiday spirit is set to shine bright as the Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, along with the Coopersburg Borough, and Coopersburg Fire Rescue, invite the community to gather for one of the area’s most cherished traditions—the annual Coopersburg Tree Lighting. This year’s celebration will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, at Coopersburg Borough Hall, 5 N Main St.
Each year, residents look forward to the moment the holiday season “officially” begins in Coopersburg—and 2025 promises to be no exception. At 6:00 PM, all eyes will turn toward Coopersburg Town Center as Santa makes his grand entrance aboard a tractor-pulled hayride, courtesy of Hausman Fruit Farm. The excitement doesn’t end with his arrival: after greeting the crowd, Santa will be available for free photos thanks to Lindsay Lerch Photography, and his festive hay ride chariot will continue offering rides through town all evening long.
Typically a connection road, East State Street will transform into a sparkling Christmas village, offering guests opportunities to shop local vendors, create holiday crafts, and purchase dinner after time spent cooking a Thanksgiving feast. Food and drink vendors—including Good’s Jakes Restaurant, Mama’s Majik Kitchen, Jaquelyn’s on Main, Hausman Fruit Farm and Onward Coffee—will help set the mood with warm bites and delicious treats.
Beyond the magic and merriment, the tree lighting serves a deeper purpose: supporting Coopersburg’s volunteer fire department. A portion of proceeds from the evening’s activities will directly benefit their ongoing service to the community.
“Since partnering with the Chamber for events such as the Christmas Tree Lighting, we have seen an increase in partnerships with vendors and an increase in families coming to events. Working with the Chamber is a big win for the Vendors and the Fire Company. We are proud to be a part of the Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce!” stated Fire Chief Dave Huber when asked about this partnered event.
As many might remember, one of the fire department’s own experienced a home fire back in January losing everything. After the amazing support from the community on that cold night in January, The Horner Family will be helping wrap their neighbors in winter coats through a “give a coat, get a coat” drive from 1:00PM to 8:00PM alongside this event. Nicole Horner, mother and wife of the family impacted, stated, “since “thank you” doesn’t even begin to describe the gratitude they have for this community covering us in warmth in our time of need, we wanted to find a way to help give back!”
Along with this coat drive guests can also stay warm at this event beside crackling burn barrels thanks to the fire department’s involvement. An outdoor fire would not be complete without an ooey-gooey s’more, which will be available complimentary thanks to Xfinity and Designing Wealth Management of Raymond James.

The evening will culminate at 8:00 PM with the long-awaited lighting of the Coopersburg Tree, a moment that rings in the holiday season for residents throughout Coopersburg and the Southern Lehigh community.
