Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce Spreads Holiday Joy in North Whitehall Township
North Whitehall Township, PA – The Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, is excited to kick off a season of holiday cheer with the 5th Annual North Whitehall Township Tree Lighting Ceremony. This beloved community tradition will take place on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Kolapechka Park. The official tree lighting will take place at 6:30 PM.
“We absolutely love bringing this tradition to life each year,” said Jessica O’Donnell-Gower, Executive Vice President of the Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, and proud resident of the township. “The North Whitehall Township Tree Lighting truly captures the heart of this community. It’s such a joy to see families, friends, and neighbors come together to celebrate the season and the strong sense of connection that makes North Whitehall so special.”
This year’s event will feature holiday music and performances from local community groups beginning at 5:30 PM, followed by a special dance performance by the Innovative Arts Academy at 6:00 PM. Guests can look forward to visits with live reindeer, a petting zoo, roaming characters, holiday activities, and a variety of craft and business vendors offering unique seasonal items.
Families can warm up with complimentary hot chocolate and hot dogs generously served by the Upper Lehigh Lions Club, browse offerings from onsite food trucks, and explore a festive craft area presented by the Parkland Community Library.
A cherished annual tradition returns as well: this is the only day for children to drop off their letters to Santa in North Whitehall Township’s special North Pole Mailbox, ensuring they reach Santa just in time for the holidays.
The evening will reach its magical moment at 6:30 PM with the official tree lighting, featuring a special guest all the way from the North Pole. Afterward, families are invited to visit the barn for festive photo opportunities with Santa.
