Dorney Park Wraps Up Successful “Heroes for the Holidays” Event



ALLENTOWN, PA — December 9, 2025 — Dorney Park successfully hosted its annual Heroes for the Holidays event today, welcoming 36 local students and more than 60 first responders and volunteers for a meaningful day of connection and holiday cheer.

Held inside White Water Tavern, the event featured a warm meal, gift-wrapping activities, and time for students to engage with police, firefighters, EMTs, school partners, and community organizations in a positive, supportive setting.

Participating partners included South Whitehall Township Police, Pennsylvania State Police, Cetronia Ambulance Corps & VFD, Upper Macungie Township Police, Parkland School District, Parkland CARES, and additional volunteers.

“Heroes for the Holidays is an incredible opportunity to bring our community together,” said Kim Solis, Park Manager for Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. “We’re grateful to all the first responders and partners who helped create such a special experience for these students.”
