Allentown, PA — Today, young Republicans in Lehigh County announced the official formation of the Lehigh County Young Republican Chapter, marking a major step forward in engaging and mobilizing young conservatives across the Lehigh Valley. The chapter will be chaired by Andres Weller of Coopersburg, who currently serves as campaign manager for Congressman Ryan Mackenzie.
“As the Lehigh Valley grows in importance on the state and national level, this new chapter will provide young Republicans the opportunity to lead,” said Weller. “Young conservatives now have a home—a place to engage with like-minded individuals, support Republican candidates at every level, and advance our values.”
Lehigh County Republican Chairman Joe Vichot welcomed the chapter’s formation, stating, “This has been a long time coming. Lehigh County needed a group like this to energize young voters, develop the next generation of leaders, and turn out the vote.”
The Lehigh County Young Republicans’ vice chair is Nolan Russo. The organization is open to all registered Republicans in Lehigh and Northampton Counties between the ages of 18-40. Those interested in joining should send an email to Lehighyr@gmail.com
Background:
