Lehigh Valley, PA – February 13, 2026 – Pinebrook Family Answers (PbFA) will launch its next session of The Second Time Around, an 11-week psychoeducational support group for grandparents and other caregivers raising children, beginning Wednesday, February 18. The one-hour virtual classes are held weekly at 11:00 a.m. and are open to the community.

The program provides support and resources for grandparents, non-custodial caregivers, and guardians who are raising children. Topics include understanding legal terms and processes; refining parenting skills; understanding child-developmental stages and positive discipline; building relationships through effective communication, intrapersonal connections, and conflict resolution; helping kids process trauma; and more.

Beyond education and information, The Second Time Around is designed to lessen feelings of isolation, foster connection among members, and build a supportive community that can extend beyond the group setting. Sessions are conducted in English, and a Spanish-speaking facilitator is available.

To register or learn more, call 484-387-1623 or email grandparents@pbfalv.org.

In addition to the educational information provided, the goal of the group is to provide opportunities for members to connect with each other, lessen feelings of isolation and create community that can extend beyond our group setting. The meetings are run in English with one facilitator who is Spanish speaking.
