Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation Announces Spring Event Lineup Focused on Workforce, Policy & Business Growth



Lehighton, PA – The Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC), proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, is welcoming the spring season with a dynamic series of events designed to connect businesses, community leaders, and residents through workforce engagement, policy discussion, and professional development opportunities.

The upcoming spring schedule highlights several signature programs that reflect the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to strengthening Carbon County’s business environment and regional economy.

On March 26 from 11:30 AM – 1 PM, the CCEDC will host its “Employee Appreciation Luncheon” at Nick’s Lake House in Lake Harmony, a celebration recognizing the employees who drive success across Carbon County businesses and organizations. The event provides employers an opportunity to honor their teams while fostering cross-industry connections.

On April 9 from 11 AM – 3 PM, the CCEDC will partner with Carbon PA CareerLink® to present a Career Fair at the Carbon Plaza Mall, connecting job seekers with local employers and workforce partners while supporting regional talent pipelines and hiring efforts. This event is the first of a two-part series, with a second event scheduled for August 20 at Carbon PA CareerLink®.

Later this spring, on April 28 from 8-11 AM, the CCEDC will host its highly anticipated “Legislative Update: What to Look For in 2026” at Blue Mountain Resort, featuring state and county officials discussing policy issues, economic priorities, and topics impacting the local business community. The program will include a moderated discussion and audience Q&A.

In addition to its signature programs, the CCEDC will offer several upcoming professional development and networking events this spring, including:

  • Franchise Ownership Lunch & Learn (March 24) – An educational program exploring franchise business models and ownership opportunities. Tickets are now available.
  • Happy Hour Networking Series – Casual networking events designed to foster business connections, with upcoming gatherings at Thorpe’s 903 on March 19 and Alchemy Lounge on April 16. Registration is now open.
