Registration Opening Soon for Youth, Adult, and Introductory Cycling Programs
Breinigsville, PA — February 20, 2026 — As the Valley Preferred Cycling Center (VPCC) celebrates its 50th anniversary season in 2026, the world-renowned T-Town velodrome today announced its full Community Program schedule, offering a comprehensive pathway for riders of all ages — from first-time participants to developing athletes and adult cyclists. Sign ups for all programs will open soon on BikeReg, a leading platform for cycling event registration. Bikes and equipment are available for participants.
“For 50 years, the Velodrome has been where first laps turn into lifelong passions,” said Gary Thornton, Executive Director Valley Preferred Cycling Center. “For some, that passion means representing their country on the Olympic stage. For others, it simply means trying something new, building confidence, or becoming part of our supportive cycling community. Our programs are designed to welcome everyone — from young riders discovering the sport for the first time to adults experiencing the track in pursuit of a healthier lifestyle. That spirit of access and opportunity is what has defined us for five decades, and it’s what continues to drive us forward.”
The 2026 Community Outreach schedule includes returning cornerstone programs such as the Mike Budjnoski Bicycle Racing League (BRL), Pee Wee Pedalers & Weeble Wobbles, Women’s Wednesdays, Summer Camps, Adult Velodrome Experiences, and Try the Track sessions — all part of VPCC’s long-standing mission to expand access to cycling and healthy activity in the Lehigh Valley.
Community programming is a cornerstone of the VPCC’s long-standing partnership with Valley Preferred and Lehigh Valley Health Network part of Jefferson Health, whose sponsorship reflects a shared commitment to promote health, wellness, and active lifestyles across the region. Through this collaboration, the velodrome is able to reduce barriers to participation, expand youth access, and create opportunities for families and adults to engage in healthy activity together.
