Campaign turns in more than 1,000 nominating signatures in less than a week
Allentown, PA — Congressman Ryan Mackenzie, representing the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District, announced on Monday that his re-election campaign had submitted more than the legally-required number of nomination petition signatures to appear on the ballot in 2026.
In less than one week since the petition process began, Mackenzie collected and filed more than 1,000 signatures from across the 7th Congressional District. This makes Mackenzie the first to file among the seven candidates running for the Congressional seat, and the first Republican to file in the state.
“Thanks to our incredible supporters across the Lehigh Valley and Poconos, we were able to collect more than one-thousand signatures in less than a week, illustrating the grassroots strength of our campaign,” said Congressman Mackenzie. “Voters know that there is only one candidate in this race with a proven record of working together to deliver results for our communities. That’s why we were able to achieve this goal, and why our campaign continues to lead on volunteer engagement, fundraising, and grassroots enthusiasm. With our spot on the ballot secure, we’re looking forward to spreading our message of commonsense leadership to voters throughout the Lehigh Valley and Poconos.”
