Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom Earns International Recognition for Ride and Aquatics Excellence

ALLENTOWN, PA (March 16, 2026) –– Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom has earned international recognition for its commitment to operational excellence across both ride operations and aquatics safety.

At the 2026 Safety Conference hosted by International Ride Training LLC (IRT), Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom received the iROC Audit Excellence Award (Large Facility) — an honor recognizing top audit performance among leading amusement facilities.

“This award celebrates a ride operations team’s exemplary performance during the International Ride Operator Certification (iROC) Audit, particularly in achieving high standards across the 10 critical components of ride operator safety,” said Cindee Huddy, Owner and Managing Member of International Ride Training LLC (IRT). “This team’s dedication to these essential safety standards is evident and the award shows the team’s hard work throughout the 2025 season.”

In addition, the park’s Wildwater Kingdom team achieved a 2025 Platinum International Aquatic Safety Award from Ellis & Associates. The Platinum designation is awarded to only the top 10 percent of Ellis-audited facilities and reflects exceptional performance in lifeguard training, risk management, and aquatic safety standards.

“These recognitions underscore the discipline, preparation, and accountability our team demonstrates every day,” said Park Manager Kim Solis. “Safety and operational excellence are foundational to the guest experience we deliver.”

As Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom builds momentum into the 2026 season, these honors reinforce the park’s ongoing investment in training, leadership development, and operational consistency. The park officially opens for the 2026 season on Friday, May 8, welcoming guests back to their favorite coasters, family rides, and early season entertainment.

Wildwater Kingdom follows with its Opening Day on Saturday, May 23, bringing back slides, splash zones, wave pools, and refreshing attractions for families and thrill seekers alike.
