PALMERTON, Penn. – Blue Mountain Resort will celebrate another successful ski season with two complimentary, family-friendly events: the resort’s annual Pond Skim on Sunday, March 29 and Easter Egg Hunt on the Snow on Sunday, April 5.

Annual Pond Skim at Blue Mountain Resort’s Vista Trail

Sunday, March 29, 9 to 11 a.m. for registration, 12 p.m. for start of event

Blue Mountain’s annual Pond Skim returns this Sunday, celebrating the season. Registration will take place from 9 to 11 a.m., with the event beginning at noon at Vista Trail, just outside of Slopeside Pub & Grill. Skiers and snowboarders ages 10 and older are invited to don creative costumes and attempt to skim across a 100-foot pond after descending Vista Trail.

The event is free to participate in; however, all participants must have a valid lift ticket or season pass. Those who successfully make it across the pond will receive a complimentary T-shirt, while supplies last. Spectators are welcome, with food and beverage offerings available at Slopeside Pub & Grill following the event.

Easter Egg Hunt on the Snow Returns to Blue Mountain

Sunday, April 5, Check-in at 10:45 a.m., Hunt begins at 11 a.m.

Families can celebrate Easter with a colorful Easter Egg Hunt on the Snow at Blue Mountain Resort. The hunt begins at Summit Courtyard near Summit Lodge at the top of the mountain, where children ages 1 to 12 will search for brightly colored eggs scattered across the snow. After the hunt, families can head to Slopeside Pub & Grill for lunch, where kids eat free with the purchase of an entrée (one complimentary kids meal per entrée purchase).
