HARRISBURG, March 31 – State Rep. Ana T. Tiburcio has received her committee assignments for the 2026 legislative session.
Tiburcio is now a member of the following House committees:
- Environmental & Natural Resource Protection
- Gaming Oversight
- Housing & Community Development
- Intergovernmental Affairs & Operations
“It is an honor to be named to these four committees in my first term of office,” said Tiburcio. “These committee assignments reflect my priorities as state representative. I am ready to work with my fellow members to develop legislation on these important issues. This legislation will address the needs and quality of life of the people I represent in Leigh County.
“I especially look forward to continuing my work in affordable housing with the Housing & Community Development Committee. In serving on this committee, I will apply my experience from working with Allentown Blueprint Communities. I am committed to providing resources for first-time homebuyers and improving financial literacy, as well as implementing regulations for landlords.”
In addition to receiving these committee assignments, she was welcomed into the PA Legislative Latino Caucus.
Tiburcio was sworn in Monday, March 23 to fill the seat vacated by Josh Siegel after he resigned to become Lehigh County executive. Her current term ends in December 2026.
