April 5, 2026 – Volunteer Opportunities from Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley
Where Spring Flowers Bloom, So Does Hope…
Spring is finally thinking about arriving and Flint Hill Farm Educational Center is looking for help! The Garden Classroom needs to be dressed up for spring. Schools are scheduled to start tours early April. Some of our young helpers, in their energetic late winter cleaning, cleaned out our strawberry patch, some of our herbs, and assorted perennials. Thus, along with the annuals that need seeding, and vegetables, we could use some help in rebuilding our butterfly garden, strawberry patch, and herb gardens. We have some good friends building 2 raised bed planters with plastic cover/cold frames, so that plants can be started before Mother’s Day!

Help Preserve Precious Indigenous History
Museum of Indian Culture is actively seeking an experienced Grant Writer to help secure funding for a growing cultural institution with immediate and ongoing needs, including a funded federal initiative and a major expansion project. This is not a passive role- we’re looking for someone who can step in, identify opportunities, and help drive submissions. Some key responsibilities include identifying and pursuing foundation, corporate, and government grant opportunities, leading the writing and submission of proposals and LOIs, collaborating directly with leadership on funding strategy and program positioning, and supporting the reporting requirements tied to awarded grants. Your work will directly impact, and support cultural preservation, educational programming, and expansion of a museum dedicated to Indigenous history!
