ALLENTOWN, Pa. (April 9, 2026) — Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley invites the community to attend its annual Spring into Giving food drive on Wednesday, May 13, from 4p.m. to 7 p.m., at Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
“This event is a true reflection of the generosity and spirit of our Lehigh Valley community,” said Dina Kovats-Bernat, Director of Development and Communication at Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley. “The Spring into Giving food drive has continued to grow exponentially each year, and each donation, big or small, helps us continue to provide essential services to our community.”
BrightStar Care of Stroudsburg & Allentown, Amedisys Hospice, Friends of Pete and Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley partner annually to host the food drive. This year, all donations will benefit Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
“The Spring into Giving food drive is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and support those in need,” said Dale Wilson, community liaison for BrightStar Care of Stroudsburg & Allentown. “We’re proud to partner with Meals on Wheels and others to help provide essential resources to homebound neighbors, ensuring that everyone in our area has access to food and care when they need it most.”
This year marks the sixth annual Spring into Giving food drive, which began in 2021. It has grown exponentially over the years, further benefiting the community.
Event attendees can enjoy food and drinks from Bar H, Sherman Street Brewery and Cellar Beast Winehouse, and vendors include the Midway Manor community and local businesses.
Individuals who cannot attend on the day of the food drive can drop off donations before or after the event at Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley, 1302 N. Sherman St. in Allentown.
