Fiesta on Hamilton Returns May 17 with Expanded Celebration, Regional Partnerships, and Statewide Support

ALLENTOWN, PA — Following a 2025 debut that drew more than 20,000 attendees, Fiesta on Hamilton will return to Downtown Allentown on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., bringing an expanded footprint, nationally recognized performers, and a continued focus on celebrating Hispanic culture and community.

The annual festival will once again transform Hamilton Street into a vibrant cultural corridor, this year extending from 8th Street to 12th Street. The expansion will allow for additional vendors, community organizations, and live performances, further establishing the event as one of the region’s largest and most dynamic Latino cultural celebrations.

Fiesta on Hamilton is presented through a partnership among the Allentown Chamber of Commerce and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce – proud partners of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, La Mega 101.7 FM, the City of Allentown, and Valley Health Partners, serving as title sponsor, as well as participation from Pennsylvania leadership – Governor Josh Shapiro. The event brings together local small businesses, restaurants, musical performers, artists, cultural leaders, and residents in a shared celebration of heritage and community connection.

Organizers note that the festival continues to grow as a platform for small businesses, entrepreneurs, and community organizations. Dozens of local vendors are expected to participate, alongside a wide range of authentic Latin cuisine, family-friendly activities, and cultural programming that reflect the richness and diversity of Latino heritage in the Lehigh Valley.

The event will also include support from statewide leadership. Governor Josh Shapiro is expected to attend and take part in the festival. His participation reflects ongoing engagement with Latino communities across Pennsylvania and highlights the role of cultural events in bringing together residents, small businesses, and local organizations.

The main stage will feature internationally recognized performers, including Dominican merengue icon Milly Quezada, bachata group Óptimo, and salsa artist Charlie Cruz, delivering a full day of live entertainment.

New for 2026, the festival will include a second stage dedicated to showcasing local artists and performers from across the Lehigh Valley, creating additional opportunities for regional talent to participate in the event.

In addition to entertainment, Fiesta on Hamilton will continue to emphasize community engagement and access to resources. Valley Health Partners will host a Family Health Fair offering free health information, screenings, and services to attendees.

With thousands expected to attend once again, Fiesta on Hamilton remains a free, family-friendly event designed to foster connection, celebrate culture, and support economic and cultural vitality in Downtown Allentown.
