WCA Interiors Joins SOTA Show House 2026, Bringing Wandra Cain’s Signature Design Vision to Historic John B. Shimer House

EASTON, Pa., April 23, 2026 – WCA Interiors is proud to announce the involvement of principal interior designer Wandra Cain in the 2026 SOTA Show House, taking place at the historic John B. Shimer House in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, from May 2-17, 2026. This celebrated annual event transforms a landmark Greek Revival farmhouse, built in 1855, into an immersive showcase of interior design, landscape design, craftsmanship, and community creativity.

The Society of the Arts (SOTA) Show House welcomes visitors to experience the reimagining of a historic Lehigh Valley home through the work of local designers, landscape artists and creative professionals from across the region. Proceeds from the event benefit the Allentown Art Museum and support its educational and cultural outreach, making the Show House both an inspiring design concept and meaningful community fundraiser.  Guests can tour the house during public hours, attend special preview and community events, and see firsthand how thoughtful design can honor history while creating fresh, livable spaces.

This is Cain’s second year participating in the highly anticipated design showcase.  After establishing herself professionally, she returned to school and earned her Interior Design degree from Northampton County Area Community College in December 2011. From humble beginnings in a three-room rail home to the Easton home she and her husband built, and she designed, Wandra’s story is one of determination and transformation. For WCA Interiors, the SOTA House reflects a life shaped by hard work, resilience, and a lifelong love of creating beautiful spaces.

Wandra Cain is widely respected throughout the Lehigh Valley as an exceptional interior designer known for her refined eye, luxe patterns and fabrics, client-centered approach, and ability to create spaces that feel both beautiful and personal. Her work has been featured by SOTA, Lehigh Valley News, The Morning Call, and Lehigh Valley Style, echoing her standing as a trusted creative force in the region. Through her design philosophy, Cain focuses on capturing both the spirit of the client and the essence of the space, helping each project feel intentional, welcoming, and enduring.

“Being a part of the SOTA Show House is especially meaningful because it allows us to celebrate the history of this beautiful home while showing how thoughtful design can make a space feel both timeless and livable,” said Wandra Cain, principal designer of WCA Interiors. “At WCA Interiors, I believe the best design reflects the people who live and work in the space, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a project that highlights the talent, creativity, and rich history of the Lehigh Valley.”

The Show House also provides an important platform for local businesses, homeowners, and community members who are looking for inspiration to refresh their own spaces and connect with a designer who understands the local market. As a company based in Easton, WCA Interiors offers flexible interior design services that range from full-service project management to accessible design support for clients who want expert guidance at any stage. The company’s approach emphasizes collaboration, stress reduction, and a design process tailored to each client’s needs. For local businesses and homeowners seeking to refresh their interiors, WCA Interiors serves as a valuable resource for thoughtful, functional, and elevated design solutions.
