A Bethlehem funeral director was recently featured on a Times Square billboard as part of a national campaign recognizing the work of funeral professionals.

Justin Keiper,  funeral director with Cantelmi Funeral Homes, appeared in Chptr’s “The First Call” campaign, which highlights the role funeral directors play in supporting families during times of loss. The campaign was displayed in Times Square, bringing national visibility to a profession that often works behind the scenes.

The initiative focuses on funeral directors as the “first call” families make after the death of a loved one, emphasizing their responsibility, compassion, and presence during life’s most difficult moments.

“For me, it wasn’t about seeing my photo in Times Square,” Keiper said. “It was about what the message represented. Even for a moment, an entire profession was seen in a way it rarely is.”

Cantelmi Funeral Homes serves families throughout the Lehigh Valley and has long been committed to providing personalized, compassionate care. Keiper said being included in the campaign was both a personal honor and a meaningful way to represent the profession and the local community.

The campaign was created by Chptr in partnership with the National Funeral Directors Association and Tribute Technology to recognize funeral professionals nationwide.
