Key Openings Begin May 16 with Camping and Adventure Attractions, Followed by Pennsylvania’s Only Lift-Served Bike Park and Youth Programs
PALMERTON, Pa. – Blue Mountain Resort, nestled in the Pocono Mountains within driving distance of Philadelphia and New York City, is preparing for the return of its green season with a lineup of outdoor adventures, expanded programming and key opening dates for spring and summer 2026. As winter gives way to warmer weather, the resort transitions from snow-covered slopes to lush peaks and valleys, offering activities for thrill-seekers, families and leisure travelers alike.
The 2026 green season begins in May with the reopening of Blue Mountain’s outdoor attractions, highlighted by Pennsylvania’s only lift-served bike park, overnight camping and glamping experiences, and the return of Summit Adventure Park. Later in June, the resort will launch its Summer Adventure Camps for children.
Camping and Glamping | Opens Saturday, May 16
Camping and glamping accommodations open May 16, offering experiences ranging from traditional tent and RV sites to upgraded glamping options. Campsites are located on scenic mountain prairie fields and include picnic tables, fire rings and access to bathrooms and showers. Group camping is available for reunions, youth groups and team outings.
Glamping guests can choose from scenic mountain sites featuring amenities such as solar lighting, charging stations, bunk beds with air mattresses, coolers, solar showers, benches, Adirondack chairs and picnic tables. Two stocked ponds are available for fishing, and a camp store offers basic provisions and souvenirs.
Glamping sites start at $159 per night.
Summit Adventure Park | Opens Saturday, May 16 (Weekends)
Also opening May 16, Summit Adventure Park welcomes guests on weekends, with Friday hours added in June. The park features ziplining, high ropes courses, laser tag, archery tag, nighttime climbing and the Adventure Cube, a four-sided climbing structure designed to accommodate multiple participants simultaneously.
Summit Adventure Park tickets are $49 per 2-hour experience.
Guests can also enjoy hiking trails, scenic lift rides and disc golf throughout the mountain, with dining and live entertainment at Slopeside Pub & Grill providing a relaxed gathering place after a day of outdoor activities.
Mountain Biking | Opens Friday, May 22
Blue Mountain’s Bike Park opens May 22 to the public. As Pennsylvania’s only lift-served bike park, it features a vertical drop of 1,082 feet and 30 downhill trails suited for riders of all skill levels, from beginner-friendly flow trails to technical singletrack and jump lines. The park is serviced by the high-speed Comet Quad Lift and offers rentals, protective gear, repair services and introductory lessons.
Bike Park Adult Tickets are $58 (ages 16+); Youth Tickets $45 (ages 15 and under); and Bike Park Season Pass is $369.
Summer Adventure Camps | Begin Monday, June 22
Beginning June 22, Blue Mountain’s Summer Adventure Camps offer day and overnight programs for children ages 5 to 15. Activities include ziplining, rock climbing, hiking, team-building challenges and other outdoor experiences designed to encourage exploration and confidence in a mountain setting.
Day Camp pricing starts at $609 per week (Mon-Fri); Overnight at $1,309 per week (Sun-Fri).
