TREXLERTOWN, PA — The Valley Preferred Cycling Center (VPCC), widely recognized as the premier outdoor velodrome in North America, is seeking community volunteers for its 2026 racing season, including Friday Nights Under the Lights and the USA Cycling Junior Track Cycling National Championships.

Volunteers are needed for Friday Nights Under the Lights, running May 29 through August 14, as well as for Junior Nationals, taking place July 23–27. These events bring together elite athletes, rising juniors, and thousands of fans for an unmatched summer sports experience.

Volunteer opportunities are diverse and hands-on, including:

  • Assisting with rider registration and race operations
  • Supporting ticket sales and admissions
  • Greeting and assisting spectators
  • Helping execute promotions and in-event entertainment
  • Assisting merchandise sales and sponsor activations
  • Supporting plaza setup and hospitality areas

Volunteers play a critical role in delivering the energy and experience that makes Friday nights at the velodrome a regional destination. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to be part of something special.

From youth programs to elite competition, VPCC’s season runs April through September and offers something for everyone in the community.
