KidsPeace to Become Affiliate of Inperium, Inc.

SCHNECKSVILLE, PA (May 4, 2026) – KidsPeace announced that it has entered into an affiliation agreement with Inperium, Inc., effective May 1, 2026.

KidsPeace, which provides mental and behavioral health services to children and young people, said the affiliation will strengthen its financial security by expanding access to capital and enhancing efficiencies in key back-office support functions. These improvements will help ensure the organization can continue delivering high-quality programs for its clients in support of its mission.

KidsPeace President and CEO Michael W. Slack hailed the agreement as a key step in ensuring the organization is able to navigate the complexities of mental healthcare.

“KidsPeace has been a leader in calling attention to the challenges facing mental health providers – rising costs, staffing shortages, and reimbursement rates that have not kept pace with the needs of the children and families we serve,” said Mr. Slack. “These realities affect our ability to staff our programs and invest in needed technological advancements. Through our affiliation with Inperium, we will be better positioned to meet those challenges and devote more resources to serving more kids who need KidsPeace’s programs.”

Inperium is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports nonprofits and mission-aligned enterprises through a shared constellation of services, expertise, and capital—while preserving mission, identity, and operational independence among its more than thirty affiliates operating across twenty states.

“Inperium was built to support mission-driven organizations by giving them the enterprise-level infrastructure, capital resources, and operational strength needed to thrive over the long term,” said Ryan Dewey Smith, Founding Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Inperium. “KidsPeace has a remarkable legacy of service to children and families. This affiliation is about protecting that legacy, strengthening its future, and ensuring its teams have the support they need to continue delivering high-quality care.”

Mr. Slack emphasized that KidsPeace’s identity, branding, and program delivery would remain unchanged across its Continuum of Care following the affiliation.

“We look forward to working with Inperium in the months ahead to leverage its strengths as a support-services provider and to further our mission for the young people who need us,” he said.
