ARTSQUEST, Bethlehem – Volunteers (age 15+; age 14 with adult) are needed at Christkindlmarkt to make this one of the best Christmas markets in the nation. Opportunities include Front of House, Admissions Assistants, Customer Service Assistants, Craft helpers, and much more. Volunteer Thursdays through Sundays from November 21 through December 22. CEDARBROOK SENIOR CARE AND REHAB, Allentown invites volunteers to help at their Annual Holiday Bazaar on Friday, November 8 from 9:30am-3pm. Assist residents (push wheelchairs) as they shop for crafts, baked goods, plants, and other goodies; table helpers are also needed. DELAWARE & LEHIGH NATIONAL HERITAGE CORRIDOR, Easton needs volunteers for their Half Marathon Run & Walk on Sunday, November 3. Volunteers staff water stops, start/finish areas, and places in between, serve water/food, direct participants at road intersections/crossings, help present medals/ awards, and cheer on participants. Course starts at the Northern Lehigh High School, Slatington, and finishes at Canal Street Park, Northampton. EQUI-LIBRIUM, INC., Nazareth is hosting a “Night at the Races” on Friday, November 15 at the PBS39 facility on the SteelStacks campus, Bethlehem. Races will be shown on big screens and people can buy a horse, place bets, and cheer them on. Volunteers are needed to help set-up, run bets during races, and help clean-up. HOLIDAY HOPE CHESTS need volunteers to donate wrapped shoeboxes filled with age appropriate items for Lehigh Valley’s children in need. This program coordinated by the Volunteer Center is a great project for large/small groups, clubs, classes, families, and individuals. MORAVIAN HISTORICAL SOCIETY is looking for a curatorial intern to assist the Curator of Collections with researching and preparing their winter exhibition. This intern will locate and inventory collection objects, while learning Past Perfect collection management software.
