ARTSQUEST, Bethlehem – Volunteers (age 15+; age 14 with adult) are needed at Christkindlmarkt to make this one of the best Christmas markets in the nation. Opportunities include Front of House, Admissions Assistants, Customer Service Assistants, Craft helpers, and much more. Volunteer Thursdays through Sundays from November 21 through December 22. GRACEDALE NURSING HOME, Nazareth is looking for volunteers to help the residents and staff get in the Holiday Spirit by helping to decorate Christmas trees on Wednesday, December 4 from 9am-3pm. GREATER VALLEY YMCA, Nazareth needs volunteers to help put on the biggest Thanksgiving 5K race in the Lehigh Valley supporting the work of the Greater Valley YMCA Nazareth Branch. Race date is Thursday, November 28 from 7am-11am. Opportunities available for course marshal (cheer and direct), set-up, tear-down, and create an awesome experience for the 1,000 runners/walkers taking part in the day. HOLIDAY HOPE CHESTS need volunteers to donate wrapped shoeboxes filled with age appropriate items for Lehigh Valley’s children in need. Suggested gift lists are provided on our website. This program, coordinated by the Volunteer Center, is a great project for large/small groups, clubs, classes, families, and individuals. MORAVIAN HISTORICAL SOCIETY, Nazareth needs a volunteer graphic design intern to assist their staff with developing/producing a variety of media outreach items. Person should be comfortable working in various mediums including print, digital, and video. Duties include: prepare images for social media posts, create logos and programs for special events, update website, and design event posters. Must be proficient in Adobe Suite. ST. LUKE’S UNIVERSITY HEALTH NETWORK, All Campuses needs additional Volunteer Escorts, Patient Advocates, and Hospice Volunteers Monday through Friday from 8am-noon or 12-4pm. Volunteers spend time socializing with and providing comfort items to patients while assisting staff with various support duties.
