Wildlands Conservancy – Canoeing 101

August 22 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Discover the basics of canoeing on the calm waters of the canal at Wy-Hit-Tuk Park! Perfect for beginners and families, this hands-on program will introduce you to paddling techniques, water safety, and the joys of exploring nature from the water.

Led by Wildlands Conservancy’s experienced guides, participants will gain confidence on the water while enjoying a peaceful paddle surrounded by the park’s scenic beauty. All equipment is provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Join us for a fun and relaxing introduction to canoeing!

Paddles and PFDs (personal flotation devices) are provided. Tandem canoes can fit two adults and one small child approximately 3- 6 years old.

Your registration matters! If you’re unable to attend, please let us know in advance so we can offer your spot to someone else eager to enjoy this special experience.

This program is offered free of charge, thanks to funding from Northampton County.
