Experience history at Easter on the Farm on March 19, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center at Kutztown University.<\/p>\n

Visitors will be witness to many historic activities including blacksmithing, log hewing, pottery making, and hearth cooking. Children will be delighted by the egg hunts (for ages 6 mos. to 10 yrs.) at 11:30 and 2:30, as well as wagon rides, petting zoo, and hands-on crafts.<\/p>\n

Keith Brintzenhoff takes the stage in the schoolhouse at 12:00 and at 3:00 with \u201cSongs and Stories for Kids of All Ages,\u201d and Mike Hertzog and The Blue Mountain Trio will perform traditional bluegrass and folk music at 1:00! Other exciting activities in the schoolhouse include a reading of \u201cThe Easter Bunny Brothers\u201d by Dori Hoch, and a Reading of Penny Olive by Rachel Yoder.<\/p>\n

Don’t miss our vendor tent with over 15 more vendors. Also inside will be a display of traditional Lenape storytelling, history, and artifacts by Tales from Spirit Wind; as well as the Make Your Own Music activity.<\/p>\n

The buildings and grounds of the Heritage Center will be bustling with activity from vendors and crafters. From Moravian stars and paintings to bee products and whittled items \u2013 our craftspeople are bound to have that perfect Easter gift!<\/p>\n

Food and refreshments will be available at the Old Time Plow Boys kitchen.<\/p>\n
