Beyond the Beat will feature a roundtable of reporters from around the valley to discuss news from the past week.<\/i><\/p>\n

Bethlehem, PA. – May 19, 2020 – <\/strong>Beyond the Beat<\/i>, a 30-minute roundtable discussion between journalists across the Lehigh Valley and host Stephen Jiwanmall<\/a>, is set to begin airing this month. The program will be broadcast at 10 a.m. on Sundays in place of Community Update on Coronavirus.<\/p>\n

Community-centric journalism is more important than ever, as the public turns to local news for their source of information. Beyond the Beat <\/i>will bring together journalists and reporters from a variety of media to discuss what they covered from the previous week, and what the hot button topics are throughout the region.<\/p>\n

Beyond the Beat <\/i>premieres Sunday, May 24, at 10 a.m. on PBS39<\/a> and will be live streamed on PBS39\u2019s Facebook page<\/a>.
