Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County has been serving homebound seniors and adults with disabilities since February 1, 1971.\u00a0 Each weekday, 66 volunteers deliver meals to 450 people and provide a well-being check and a social connection.\u00a0 In addition, volunteers deliver groceries to more than 100 people on a weekly, biweekly or monthly basis.\u00a0 The Agency also provides emergency meals, pet food for clients\u2019 pets and connects clients to other services to help them remain independent in their own homes.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
