In some cases, the applications are partially filled out with the citizen\u2019s information. At least one group has sent applications to residents who are deceased. These mailings are leading to a great deal of confusion among those voters who have already filled out an application and are scheduled to receive a mail-in ballot for the general election. Many of the mailings list the Election\u2019s Office as the return address and some include the name of Northampton County\u2019s Registrar, Amy Cozze.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\u201cWe want the public to know that the Election\u2019s Office does not send out unsolicited applications,\u201d says Amy Cozze. \u201cThese mailings have generated a great deal of confusion and, in the case of the recently deceased, much pain for family members. Anyone who receives one of these unsolicited applications should check the \u2018Paid by\u2019 notice to see which group sent it.\u201d<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>The Election\u2019s Office performs regular maintenance of Northampton County\u2019s voter rolls, removing ineligible voters after they have passed away, moved out of the County or have been inactive for a period of time.
