ALLENTOWN, PA\u00a0<\/strong>\u2014\u00a0Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network<\/a>, a nationally recognized physical rehabilitation leader that offers an innovative continuum of care for adults and children with often complex physical and cognitive needs, has promoted\u00a0Gregory Wilson, CAP\u00ae, CFRE,\u00a0<\/strong>to lead its Development department and hired\u00a0Chris Fistner, NHA, PCHA,<\/strong>\u00a0to oversee Good Shepherd Home \u2013 Raker Center.<\/p>\n

In his new role as Associate Vice President, Development, Wilson oversees all aspects of Good Shepherd\u2019s\u00a0fundraising efforts<\/a>, including major and planned gifts, grants, direct mail, sponsorships, special events, volunteers and government and community relations.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining Good Shepherd in 2018 as Senior Major Gift and Planned Giving Officer, Wilson worked for Muhlenberg College where he earned roles of increasing responsibility, including Director of Leadership Gifts and Planned Giving. Wilson previously served in various and vital fundraising roles for the East Stroudsburg University Foundation, Inc., the Foundation for Ichthyosis & Related Skin Types, Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great, and Boy Scouts of America.<\/p>\n

Wilson earned his bachelor\u2019s degree in History at Lebanon Valley College and his master\u2019s degree in Non-Profit Management from Eastern University. He also holds the following accreditations: Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP\u00ae), The American College of Financial Services; and Certified Fundraising Executive, CFRE International.<\/p>\n

In his new role as Administrator,\u00a0Good Shepherd Home \u2013 Raker Center<\/a>, Fistner oversees day-to-day management of the 99-bed long-term care home at 601 St. John Street in Allentown. Good Shepherd Home \u2013 Raker Center offers intermediate, heavy or skilled nursing for persons with physical disabilities, including \u2014 but not limited to \u2014 cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, brain injury, quadriplegia, spina bifida and multiple sclerosis.<\/p>\n

Fistner returns to Good Shepherd, where he served originally for nearly two years as an admissions liaison covering eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Prior to his return to Good Shepherd, Fistner served as administrator at Valley Manor in Coopersburg. He also previously worked as assistant administrator at Lehigh Valley Health Network \u2013 TSU in Allentown.<\/p>\n

A licensed nursing home administrator, Fistner earned his bachelor\u2019s degree in Criminal Justice from Kutztown University.<\/p>\n
