PBS39\u2019s In Pursuit of Perfection and Reporter Brittany Sweeney bring home Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy\u00ae Awards<\/div>\n

Bethlehem, PA. – September 21, 2020 –\u00a0The Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy\u00ae Awards<\/a>\u00a0gala was held virtually via Facebook Live on Saturday, September 19, 2020. This year, PBS39 brought home awards in the categories of Sports-News Single Story or Series as well as Video Journalist.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cI am extremely proud of our entire team as they are increasingly recognized for this important work,\u201d Tim Fallon, Chief Executive Officer of PBS39 said. \u201cWe do all of this for our community, and it is a great honor that the Emmy Awards Committee sees the value as well.\u201d<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

In Pursuit of Perfection<\/a>,\u00a0is the Cinderella success story of the Bethlehem Catholic Girls Basketball team who PBS39 followed throughout their post season, as they overcame challenges and fought to bring home another PIAA Championship. Team members recognized for this achievement include\u00a0Javier Diaz,\u00a0Director\/Editor,\u00a0Eric Werner, Videographer,\u00a0Jim Deegan, Producer,\u00a0Anastasia Weckerly,\u00a0Producer,\u00a0Tracy Yatsko, Host and\u00a0Daniel Ray,\u00a0Videographer\/Editor.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

The evening of recognition continued for Health Reporter\u00a0Brittany Sweeney,\u00a0who took home the award for Video Journalist. The team was nominated for a total of 12 Emmys this year.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cWe are so fortunate to have Brittany\u2019s passion and talent on our team,\u201d Yoni Greenbaum, Chief Content Officer at PBS39 said. \u201cShe has been vital in sharing the stories of many of our community and establishing a presence for herself as our health reporter, especially through the pandemic. This recognition of her contributions to our industry is well-deserved.\u201d<\/div>\n
