\nSeptember 24, 2020<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013Univest Financial\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0recently presented Habitat for Humanity Lehigh Valley with a check for $2,500.\u00a0Since 2009, Univest has supported various Lehigh Valley nonprofits through the IronPigs Double Plays Pays sponsorship in which Univest makes a $25 donation to a local nonprofit each time the IronPigs make a double play. While the IronPigs season was cancelled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Univest honored its commitment to make a donation to the nonprofit chosen to be this year\u2019s recipient \u2013 Habitat for Humanity Lehigh Valley.<\/p>\n

Previous sponsorship recipients include Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County, Lehigh Valley Zoo, Boys & Girls Club of Allentown, Big Brothers Big Sisters Lehigh Valley, Valley Youth House, The Fund to Benefit Children & Youth and the Community Music School.<\/p>\n

Univest supports a variety of nonprofit organizations throughout its service area of\u00a0southeastern Pennsylvania which extends to the Lehigh Valley and Lancaster.\u00a0In 2019, Univest\u2019s Committed To Local philanthropic giving program made contributions totaling more than $2.0 million dollars to support groups that make a positive difference in the communities it serves and its employees volunteered 20,300 hours.<\/p>\n
